Go For Broke Monument

This monument commemorates the thousands of Japanese-American soldiers who served in the U.S. Army during World War 2. After being moved to incarceration camps and getting their draft statuses changed from "enemy alien", they were allowed to serve in the army [in segregated military units] and prove their loyalty to America. At the end of World War 2, a group of veterans formed the Go For Broke Monument to preserve the Japanese-American World War 2 experience.
